By far our highest demand from tenants is seen on our Tenants’ Rights Hotline. We answer hundreds of calls a month from renters in crisis and our need for more volunteers to meet that need is ever-expanding.
Hotline volunteers require a special amount of training and therefore we ask for a weekly 6-month commitment or a year-long commitment if you only come in twice a month. Hotline volunteer shifts are available Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 1-5pm and Tuesday 6-8pm. We especially need volunteers who are available for our weekday shifts, since our Tuesday evening and Saturday shifts are often full.
