8am-6pm
Lewis and Clark Law School
This all-day conference focuses on issues affecting women who are incarcerated in Oregon. Despite the enormous growth in the rate of women becoming imprisoned, they are often forgotten in discussions about the impact of the criminal justice system and the reforms that are needed. This conference highlights women in the criminal justice system, their needs, and the consequences of their over-incarceration. This fall our conference examines women’s journeys through the criminal justice system and encourages breaking the silence on how incarceration impacts women and their families. http://ojrc.info/wipconference/
Ticket price includes light breakfast, full lunch and a reception following the conference. Free parking is available at the law school. Contact Amie Wexler at wexler@ojrc.org with questions regarding accessibility.
