4th Annual Memorial for Keaton Otis

Monday, May 12, 2014

Allen Temple C M E Church

4236 NE 8th Ave

May 12th, 2014 marks four years to the day that Keaton Otis, a young Black man, was killed by Portland police officers after they stopped him for “looking like a gangster.”

Please join us for the 4th annual memorial to remember Keaton, his father Fred Bryant, and to call for justice in this case and all cases of police violence.

Every month on the 12th for four years, his father Fred Bryant held a vigil on the stop where his son was killed, and every year on May 12th Fred held a memorial. Fred Bryant passed away this year, but his struggle for justice for Keaton continues.
