Envisioning a Justice Based Movement to End Gender Violence. Using Incite! Co-founder Andrea Smith’s recent piece, “Beyond Eve Ensler: What Should Organizing Against Gender Violence Look Like?” we will unravel where the dominant “violence against women” discourse is currently within feminist, activist, organizational and national struggles; and how to complicate and challenge this narrative using an intersectional analysis and approach. Join our Conversationalists Stephanie Wahab, Roberta Hunte, Cornel Pewewardy, Derrais Carter and Meg Panichelli as they discuss the principles discussed in the Andrea Smith piece as well as their reflections from their own work.
