SIREN SPIRITS (1994) is a compilation of 4 short films.
Ngozi Onwurah’s WHITE MEN ARE CRACKING UP uses a murder mystery to explore the legacies of British colonialism and the exoticization of Black women.
Pratibha Parmar directed MEMSAHIB RITA to chronicle the internal culture clash suffered by a London girl with a British mother and a Sri Lankan father.
Dani Williamson’s GET ME TO THE CREMATORIUM ON TIME is a moving portrait of undying love and grief.
Frances-Anne Solomon’s BIDESHI follows a comatose man whose soul is stuck in a dark tunnel near death until he is able to resolve his conflict with his daughter.
