The event is FREE to PSU students. (one ticket per student)
The cost for the faculty, staff and general public is $15 (plus a $2 service fee).
ABOUT DR. KING:
Dr. Bernice A. King is the youngest daughter of Martin Luther King Jr. and the chief executive officer of The King Center.
Dr. King is a minister, activist, lawyer and public speaker, focusing on social justice, nonviolence and personal motivation – particularly among young people. She also is a member of Georgia’s state bar, and served as a law clerk in the Fulton County (GA) juvenile court system.
Dr. King spearheaded the Aug. 28 “Let Freedom Ring” event commemorating the 50th anniversary of the March on Washington and her father’s famous “I Have a Dream” speech. The event included President Obama and former presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter, as well as international leaders, dignitaries and entertainers.
