That memorable day and his speech have been the backdrop of our “working hard at the intersection of education and the arts” programming. “We not only stand on the shoulders of those who have come before us, but we stand also on the shoulders of those who are among us.”
This year’s program will include an array of community speakers from various civic and social community organizations. Program format will include digital media, high definition tape delayed broadcast by live artistic performer presentations from the civil rights era. Visual arts and digital media will be used this year to enhance our program and help develop the focus toward a younger audience.
