About Walidah:
Walidah Imarisha is a writer, organizer, educator and performance poet. She is the co-editor of the upcoming anthology Octavia’s Brood: Science Ficton Stories from Social Justice Movements. She has taught in the Portland State University’s Black Studies Department and Oregon State University’s Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies Department.
