Colored Pencils Art and Culture Night. Friday, June 29th @ the Oregon Historical Society. 1200 S.W. Park Ave., downtown.
Reception begins at 5:30pm. Odessa Too will make traditional African-American cuisine for sale.
Performances: Honoring the founding tribes of Oregon, a Native American performance will start the evening. Singer/songwriter Edna Vazquez will be there and Chido Dhliwayo (an international student from Zimbabwe) will dance. Spoken word and music begins @ 6pm.
No admission cost for elders or students. Suggested donation is $10.
